California Needs $50 Billion To Recover From Damages Made by Recent Flood

The condition of destruction could be understood by the fact that more than 200,000 people living near the country’s tallest dam were evacuated to safe places.

Apart from this, the state’s natural resource secretary claims of uncountable destruction because of the heavy rain and flood.

The officials have estimated that $50 Billion would be needed for roads, dams and other infrastructure which got destroyed in the flood.

Damage to California’s highways alone is estimated around $600 Million.

Another report says that only a few highways are currently operating and safe for travelers.

Relief works are still going on in the area.
