After a long gap of 16 years, Dr. Dre has returned to the music industry with his new album. The biopic, ‘Straight Outta Compton’ is based on his former band N.W.A will feature in this album.
Niggaz Wit Attitude or N.W.A was quite a controversial band from the 1980’s with its controversial songs. And it was a success shocking the white people of America. The mogul rapper Dr. Dre has also given hints that this will be his last recordings. He has also become one of the richest music persons with this album as he has collaborated with Apple. The album will be released a week before the biopic is supposed to release in the US cinemas and would be out on August 7.
According to the rapper, he was extremely inspired by the filming of the biopic that he decided to record an album. Dr. Dre or Andre Romelle Young has collaborated with Snoop Dog, Eminem, Ice Cube and Kendrick Lamar for this album.
On Saturday in one of the shows of the Apple Music, which is a new streaming and radio service from the company, Dr. Dre talked about his inspiration, his recordings and how he finally finished his album. He also indicated through his tweets on Twitter that this album is his last by calling it his grand finale. This year, his net worth is estimated to be at $700 million though the man has had a humble beginning.
Beats Electronics, the audio products and headphone business of the rapper too was bought by Apple for $3.2 billion last year. The rapper businessman was so busy with his business that he was unable to release a solo studio album since 2001. He worked for years on Detox, an album but left it midway as he did not like it which he mentioned on a radio show.
