Producers of Looped has sued Valerie Harper for not being informed she had cancer.
Broadway playwright Matthew Lombardo has filed a $2 million lawsuit against the Mary Tyler Moore Show veteran.
The 74-year-old is suffering from terminal brain cancer. She was diagnosed in 2012. Due to the disease she use to slur words and also forget lines in the shoots.
According to Lombardo, the Dancing With the Stars contestant had not informed him abiout the disease and this has cost him $500,000. Meanwhile, prior to this the actress herself had filed a lawsuit against the producer claiming he has not yet paid.
Even though Harper has been diagnosed with cancer, but she has since then blossomed. However, she is not completely out of the disease yet through regular therapy and treatment.
In a released statement the actress said that she is not completely free from the cancer disease but she wished she could be, and she is now optimistic about her present condition with hope to recover in future.
Earlier her doctor, Dr. Jeremy Rudnick, said the actress is pretty close to remission.
Harper appeared on Dancing With the Stars last season. She may next be seen in the Hallmark Channel’s Signed, Sealed, Delivered.
During her Dancing With the Stars time she inspired others to keep fighting.
