Shigery Miyamoto: Zelda games should have no release date

Microsoft's Xbox division head- Phil Spencer expressed warm admiration and excitement to Nintendo's biggest products- “The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild,” as well as the Nintendo NX

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the long awaited next title in the series and is set to release next year for the Wii U and Nintendo NX. Video game analyst Michael Pachter exclaimed that the game’s launching on the NX made him realize just how “powerful” the new console will be.

When the head of Microsoft’s Xbox division was asked on Twitter about his thoughts regarding Nintendo NX, Spencer stated that the time Nintendo launches a new console, the industry probably will excite about it, Game Spot reported. The people around us keep telling us: ‘This is the last one.

Fans of the franchise were blown away when Nintendo showcased the game at the convention.

Phil Spencer comments on the upcoming NX release.

“I think there’s different reasons for delays”, famed developer Shigeru Miyamoto said. Miyamoto shared that the game is more “open air”.

He explained that the term was coined by Nintendo’s Bill Trinen and he uses it to aptly describe the new Zelda game.

Jono loves to play and try out all types of games, but he’s especially fond of those with “Xenoblade”, “Okami”, or “Zelda” in the title.

There’s not a lot more info on the figure at the moment, like how much it will cost or when it’s available, but hopefully this is the start of a long and lovely string of licensed Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild toys. It might be possible for them to make it where Amiibo companions could be controlled by another player, but even that’s a stretch. Aonuma’s multiplayer hint may be a possibility in a future Zelda game by Nintendo.
