Student Union Wants to Ban Clapping and Cheering Because it Excludes Deaf People

A student union has said and requested to the people that they should stop clapping to show their support because this gesture excludes deaf people.

It has been reported that the Britan’s largest student union, The National Union of Students (NUS), who during their two-day conference, said that the students should immediately stop clapping or shouting to show their support as the kind of gesture excludes deaf people.

Adding more, the presenters advised that students should rather use “jazz hands” – a gesture when people wave their hands in the air as it includes the people who can’t hear.

Sadly, on social media people are making fun of such ‘warning’. One user wrote, “NFL should be banned, as blind people can’t see it”.
