Sunny, hot and a chance for Friday thunderstorms

Some beachgoers were already in the water about 7 a.m. Saturday morning as the sun was rising at Jensen Beach where showers could be seen just offshore

The high temperature today is expected to reach only the mid-70s with calm winds picking up to 5 miles per hour from the southwest.
